INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION

This is the first step in working with us to design your dream kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or entire home.  In this session, we will come to your home to get a feel for the space and your personality.  This is the perfect time to share your inspiration photos and Pinterest boards with us.  

If you have samples on hand, we can even make some decisions on the fly.  General layouts, styles, colors, and design aspects will be discussed.  Depending on the size and scope of the project, measurements may be taken.  After our session, we will have gotten to know you and your home well enough to start designing the space of your dreams. 

We know interior design can be intimidating.  Rest assured that we come with no judgement and are just thrilled that you've invited us into your home.  

Please expect this session to last 1-2 hours.  Although it's not required, we prefer all household decision-makers be present for at least part of this initial consultation..

If you don't need full-service interior design, you can still work with us on a consultation basis.  This is best for homeowners who have a really good sense and eye for design, but just need that extra reassurance or a person to bounce ideas off of.

 It includes, but isn't limited, to choosing:  cabinets, flooring, paint color, countertops, tile, hardware, lighting, moldings., built-ins, furniture selection, space planning and more. 

 In this session, you would source your own samples and have them available during our consultation.  In some cases photos of samples are adequate.  

This consultation is oftentimes dependent on how much you, the homeowner, like or want to do on your own. You may even simply need general guidance on these design aspects if you haven't sourced the exact materials yet. 

If you're working with a contractor on a remodel, this session is also ideal, as the contractor can provide us with samples we simply need to narrow down.  

Sessions are booked in 1-hour increments, per session.

An in-home color consultation consists of us coming to your home with color books and ideas ready to flow.  We will discuss your design preferences, color likes & dislikes and how you use your home.  It's always great if you have inspiration photos so we can get a sense of your style and personality, too!  

At the end of the session we will typically come up with 1-2 color options per area.  We strongly advise you sample all colors on the surface which they will be painted.  During the consultation we will explain the best approach for sampling in your home.  We will also discuss how you use your home and consider the texture of your walls to suggest the paint finish and quality options.  

If you're planning a renovation, we ask that you have samples of all new finishes we can coordinate your color with.  

We offer up to 1 hour or up to 2 hour sessions.  Most homes require up to 2 hours, depending on the amount of color and detail.
